A bunch of the folks who work here at the High Falls studios conducted a ghost hunt. I was pretty shocked by two things that we captured on our digital recorders. Out of nowhere, there are two whispers. They are friggin’ CREEPY. They are in the video “High Falls: The Haunting” which is in my video list at the top of this page. If you want to hear the creepy recordings, put on a pair of headphones and crank up the volume. I have enhanced the part of the recordings where the whispers pop up. Other than that, there has been NO alteration or funny business with these recordings. I’d love you’re feedback on what you think they are. There is a comment button at the bottom of this blog post.

This first one is tough to hear, but it sounds like a man whispering “We have to hide.”

This second clip you can clearing hear a female voice whisper “Why are you here?”

Click here to listen to some more recordings. Pat, the producer of the Kimberly & Beck show on our sister station 98.9 The Buzz, pulled these off his digital recorder from the same investigation. Again, headphones will make them easier to hear!!

Craig Morgan has had a BIG couple of weeks! Not only will he be here in Rochester on November 5th for the sold out WBEE Guitars & Stars show, but he recently released a new CD and was inducted into the Grand Ol’ Opry! Craig is a great guy. I hope you have a few minutes to click here and listen to an extended conversation we had and learn about his life as an artist and father, and his time with buddy Blake Shelton.

Also, check out theses videos. Craig is an avid motocross rider. His band was dumb enough  brave enough to let him jump them on his bike. The second video is when Craig found out he’ll become the newest member of the Grand Ol’ Opry. It’s a very touching moment that you have to see to really understand how much it meant to Craig.

NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann was in town today for the annual Compeer Sports Luncheon.  I had the opportunity to talk with the former Pittsburgh Steelers great on Tuesday night at a dinner at Black and Blue Restaurant in Pittsford.

In 1979, he was voted MVP of Super Bowl X for his four receptions and a Super Bowl record 161 yards and a touchdown as the Steelers beat Dallas 21-17.  He was the first-ever wide receiver to ever be voted Super Bowl MVP.

After his retirement from the NFL, Swann served as a football and sports broadcaster for ABC Sports from 1976–2005.  He also ran an unsuccessful bid for Pennsylvania governor.  In 2001, he was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Today, Lynn Swann lives in suburban Pittsburgh with his wife and two sons…aged 8 and 10.

He was here to to speak at Wednesday’s annual Compeer Sports Luncheon at the Riverside Convention Center.  Compeer’s mission is to improve the quality of life and assist in the rehabilitation and support of adults and youth in Monroe County who are striving for mental wellness and in need of an emotionally supportive relationship.

It was a pleasure to meet “Swanny” and to hear his message today.

Here are some little known Lynn Swann factoids…from Wikipedia

  • Lynn Swann was given his first name because his parents wanted a girl but when the baby turned out to be a boy, his parents kept the name.
  • Appears in Madden NFL 07 as an unlockable rookie free agent wide receiver.
  • Steelers fans wore hats with designs of a swan in support of Swann.
  • Swann serves on the Board of Directors for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company
