You’ve heard, by now, that Brad Paisley took a nasty tumble during a concert over the weekend in Charleston, South Carolina.  Now…you can see it

Brad is alright…remember, he plays at Darien Lake on Friday night, June 18th.  You can also follow Brad on Twitter.

Kenny Chesney and Steve Miller taped their CMT Crossroads program Tuesday night at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.  But, afterwards, both singers with their bands ambled across the alley to Tootsie’s where both performed for a SRO crowd.   Here’s some video

We still have no word on when the Chesney/Steve Miller Crossroads will air.  We’ll let you know as soon as we know.  Here’s a link to CMT.

I discovered the weirdest thing inside our refrigerator, today.  We all probably have those six packs of pudding, Jello and, maybe, applesauce.  But, a snack pack of…pickles?

I never knew that the PicklePak even existed, but, my wife says they’re a hit when she brings one to work each day!

So, what’s unusual about your fridge?  Here’s what ours looks like…outside and in.

Can you find the soy sauce?  I usually can’t!

Rochester Police officer Anthony DiPonzio has been nominated for a national award.  He is in the running for the “America’s Most Wanted” All-Star contest.

The competition is designed to honor emergency responders for their work and dedication to protect the community.  There will be eight finalists and the winner will receive $10,000.

DiPonzio was shot in the back of the head while he was responding to a call on Dayton Street in January 2009.   You can vote for Officer DiPonzio here.  You can vote for him once a day…every day…until April 11th.   One finalist is selected each week.

Good luck, Anthony!

If you’ve ever been to Nashville, you, no doubt, have passed or maybe attended an event at the Sommet Center.  It is Music City’s major indoor arena…home to events including the Nashville Predators and the CMAs as seen in this photo I took when the BEE Morning Coffee Club last visited Nashville in 2007.

But, that is about to change.  The Sommet Center (pronounced so-MAY) is about to become Bridgestone Arena.

Sommet

Nashville-based Bridgestone Tire is purchasing the rights to call it Bridgestone Arena.  It is part of a major campaign to heighten its brand through sports marketing.  You may recall that Bridgestone sponsored the Super Bowl halftime show which featured The Who.

So, goodbye Sommet Center…hello Bridgestone Arena!
