Federico Construction and Demolition is in charge of knocking down the M&T Bank Building on East Avenue and Winton Road to help prepare the site for the new East Avenue Wegmans.

Len is the patriarch and heart-and-soul of this locally family-owned and operated company.

Turns out Len is a huge fan of  The BEE Morning Coffee Club and, on Friday, called the show to invite me to the work site.  I met his sons, Lee and Mark, as well as the other members of the on-site team and had the thrill of being able to take the seat of the excavation equipment being used to level the site!

Len invited my back later this week during which time I’ll take some photos and video for this site.  Cross another thing off my personal bucket list.
